About the award
Project Person of the Year goes to the person who contributed the most to the development of project management in Kazakhstan in 2026. The winner is chosen neither by the organising committee nor by a jury, but by the members of PMI Kazakhstan Chapter themselves, in a direct vote. That is what makes the award a genuine reflection of the profession’s opinion.
Who can be nominated
Anyone whose contribution to project management was made in Kazakhstan can be nominated: a project manager, a mentor, a teacher, an author, a community leader — anyone who changes the industry by example. Chapter membership, citizenship or residency do not matter. What matters is a real contribution made here, in Kazakhstan.
How the winner is chosen
Nomination
Chapter members put forward candidates and explain their choice.
Shortlist
The jury checks the candidates and forms the list for the vote.
Voting
Each member ranks a top five: first place scores 5 points, fifth scores 1.
The win
The nominee with the highest total wins; the name is announced on 6 November 2026 at PMI Astana Forum.
