About the award
The award recognises project management offices that show high performance, leadership and value creation for their organisations: innovative solutions, focus on business results and real support of project success across industries.
Who can enter
- PMOs from any industry or sector, in an organisation registered in Kazakhstan
- PMOs at enterprise, business unit, department, programme or project level
- PMOs of global organisations — if they have official branches or projects in Kazakhstan
- Several PMOs from the same organisation may enter
- The PMO must have been operating for at least 12 months at the date of entry
Who cannot enter
- Consultants, training organisations and other outside providers of project management services
- Anyone not following PMI policies, including the PMI Code of Ethics
- Active members of the PMI Astana Forum 2026 organising team
- Active members of the PMI Kazakhstan Chapter board
What the entry includes
The entry is one filled-in file and its attachments. Download the template, fill it in and attach it in the form below — the form itself asks only for the organisation, your name and contacts.

- The filled-in entry template — PMO passport, answers on the three criteria below up to 250 words each, and key results as «before — after — over what period»
- A letter from the PMO sponsor — a C-level executive, up to one page, with signature and position
- A video presentation of the PMO — a link to YouTube, Vimeo or a cloud drive
- Supporting materials, optional — up to three files, no more than ten pages in total

How each criterion is scored

Intermediate scores of 2 and 4 are allowed.
How entries are judged
Completeness check
The organising committee checks the entry within two working days.
Written assessment
Each juror scores all admitted entries independently through an online form.
Three finalists
The three PMOs with the highest scores become finalists.
The winner
The jury approves the result at its final meeting; the name is announced on 6 November at PMI Astana Forum.
Submit an entry
The entry is submitted by the head of the PMO from a corporate email address. The language of the entry is Kazakh, Russian or English.
