About the award
The award goes to completed or nearly completed projects that show value creation, alignment with the strategy of the organisation and a wider positive effect beyond it.
Which projects are accepted
- A project carried out in Kazakhstan or by a Kazakhstan organisation, completed between 1 January 2025 and 30 September 2026
- Projects from any industry or sector, including those still in the closing stage
- The entry is submitted by the delivery organisation or the project manager; an organisation may submit several different projects
- Participation is free and PMI membership is not required
What the entry includes
- Project passport — organisation, industry, dates, budget scale, role of the applicant
- Answers on value created, proportionality and social effect
- Three questions on the discipline of measurement — the organising committee scores them
- A confirmation letter from the client or beneficiary, and a promo video as a link
The confirmation letter is mandatory: an entry without it is not accepted. Up to one page, with signature and position; its author must represent an organisation outside the applicant's structure. The committee may contact the author to verify the letter.

A project scores from 0 to 110 points. The score on each jury criterion is the average of the jurors' marks.
How entries are judged
Completeness check
The organising committee checks the entry and scores the discipline of measurement.
Pre-selection if needed
With more than 15 admitted entries the committee shortlists up to ten by value created.
Independent scoring
Each juror scores all admitted entries through an online form.
The winner
The project with the highest total wins; only finalists and the winner are published.
The jury is three or five independent experts with at least ten years in project or PMO management, including business, public sector, academia and at least one international expert. A juror connected to an applicant does not score that entry and declares the conflict before the assessment begins.
Submit an entry
The entry is submitted by the delivery organisation or the project manager. The language of the entry is Kazakh, Russian or English.
